Born and raised outside of Atlanta, GA, Danielle attended the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program for Visual Arts during high-school in 2009 – it was in that intensive collegiate environment she realized her future was in the studio. In 2012 she moved to Sarasota, FL to pursue a BFA of Painting from Ringling College of Art & Design, graduating in May 2015. During her time at RCAD Danielle experienced two major events which changed her artistic trajectory – a summer course in 2013 at Pilchuck Glass School in Stanwood,WA and a semester in Brooklyn in the AICAD / New York Studio Residency Program, Fall 2014.
She has since returned to Pilchuck many times, most recently to be on staff as a Hot Shop Assistant and completed an advanced sculpting course this summer. After graduation Danielle moved to St. Petersburg to pursue glass and work with the Duncan McClellan Gallery & DMG School Project. In the summer of 2016 she joined the Morean Arts Center Hot Glass Studio also in St. Pete as a Demonstration Artist and Introductory Glassblowing Instructor.
